The recipes that are contained within these pages are family favourites, school dinners, or just ones that have cropped up at some time and were liked.
Some of them came from Nanny Hall's cook book, she was Nanny Ann's mum, so go back quite a few years.

Errors do crop up, like the time someone tried to make a recipe with three quarters of a pound of flour when the actual amount should have been three quarters of an ounce. My bad!
